ETP SUBSIDY J&K MSME

Under the J&K Industrial Policy 2021–30, eligible industrial enterprises/MSMEs can avail assistance for Pollution Control Devices, which is the relevant incentive category for qualifying ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant), STP (Sewage Treatment Plant), and other pollution-control systems. The official J&K Industries & Commerce Department compendium specifies 60% assistance on Pollution Control Devices, subject to a maximum of ₹50 lakh, provided the same benefit has not already been claimed under CII or a similar scheme.

ETP / STP Subsidy – J&K MSME

ParticularIncentive
Eligible categoryPollution Control Devices
Assistance60% of eligible cost
Maximum assistance₹50.00 lakh
ETPEligible, subject to departmental approval
STPEligible, subject to departmental approval
Other pollution-control equipmentMay be eligible
Important conditionSame benefit should not have been claimed under CII or a similar scheme

Example: If the eligible cost of an ETP is ₹40 lakh, 60% assistance would be ₹24 lakh. If the eligible cost is ₹1 crore, 60% would be ₹60 lakh, but the assistance would be restricted to the ₹50 lakh maximum, subject to eligibility and sanction.

For a DPR, I would recommend describing the facility as “Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP)/Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) and allied Pollution Control Devices” rather than simply calling it an ETP or STP, because the policy incentive is framed under the broader category of Pollution Control Devices.

JKITR – ETP/STP Subsidy Assistance

JKITR can provide end-to-end professional assistance covering eligibility assessment, project costing, DPR preparation, identification of eligible pollution-control components, documentation, subsidy application, departmental coordination, inspection/verification compliance, preparation of the subsidy claim and follow-up for release of the admissible assistance.

Important: The 60%/₹50 lakh figure is the incentive stated in the published J&K Industrial Policy 2021–30 compendium; actual admissibility depends on the unit’s eligibility, approved project cost, nature of the pollution-control equipment, applicable departmental procedures, and whether assistance has already been claimed under another scheme.

If you are preparing this for the JKITR website, a strong headline would be:
